Meet the Speakers

With 17 years in education, Megan serves at the Office of Magnet and Curriculum Enhancement Programs in North Carolina. A proud NC Teaching Fellow alum, she’s passionate about helping others grow as educators.
A third-grade reading teacher in DFW, Lisa brings a strong passion for supporting future educators. She earned her M.Ed. through a residency at SMU and is certified in EC-6 Core Subjects and ESL.
Ann is a retired educator from Denver with 31 years of classroom experience. She advocates for students, teachers and families, and has supported aspiring educators through student teaching and coursework.
Lundon Sims
Lundon is a bilingual Spanish teacher in NC with over 20 years of experience. She has a master’s in Spanish Education and a bachelor’s in history. Outside the classroom, she enjoys time with friends and family.
